Things have been busy for me in the photography world! What a blessing it is to see things growing, and my horizons expanded! This past week I’ve spent a lot of time finalizing welcome packets for clients, compiling ideas, and putting together some portrait packages to add to the a la carte ordering already available.
I also spent a good part of this past weekend with Jake, Jessica and their friends and family. What a breathtaking time it was, too! They are a handsome, gracious couple, and were married at a park with one of the most spectacular natural backdrops imaginable. Here are a few sneak peeks of what will be coming. (And these are just my photos. They are actually my father’s clients, so he and my brother photographed things as well. What a gallery they’re going to have!)
Happy Honeymoon, you two!!!

Mitzy and I were able to get together Thursday for a little photo shoot, and I am just in awe of this woman! She does some incredible non-profit work, owns her own business, and also is generating leads for another company. And she’s so sweet and genuine! I had such a good time learning a little of all she does in a given week, and chatting about all sorts of fun stuff.
Thank you, Mitzy, for a well-spent morning! I think your brochure and website will be smashing!

I’m so excited to be able to reveal the real reason for Chris’s photoshoot last week. He had a few things up his sleeve, completely his idea, and I was honored to be able to be a small part of his plans. THIS was the shot he wanted for a very special someone back east:

THIS was the end result of that shot on this end:

And I was so thrilled to hear this morning that she said YES. Congratulations, you two!!! Here’s a link to the whole gallery now that the secret’s out. Enjoy your time together!
Last night I had the awesome opportunity to shoot some really cool stuff with Chris. I so appreciated his willingness to put up with my wall and door obsession, lol! And he was a good enough sport to bring along his bass for some fun, moody stuff too. It’s amazing how many cool places a body can find in a one block radius of a downtown spot. So thanks, Chris! I appreciate your time, creativity and sense of adventure! Here’s a sampling of tons more to come.

There are now two new complete client galleries: Ken and Mary’s girls and Jed, Jack and the Boys. These were so much fun to put together! Go check ‘em out! The rest should be done by the end of the week, as well as slideshows for each of these. Oh how I love my work!
